ForanSuon is a collaborative brand of 3-d printed ceramics by artist Jacob Foran and architect Phirak Suon. We provide our customers with affordable art items by finding intersections between Fine Art, Craft, Science, Technology, Artist, and Art Gallery.  We feel that you should live with art— rather than wishing you could collect and experience art, we make it easy. Meet the Co-Founders

Jacob Foran, Owner, Founder

Jacob Foran is a visual artist working in Seattle, WA. His work has been exhibited and collected widely throughout the US and he been a resident artist at the European Ceramic Work Center in The Netherlands; the Ceramics Department at California State Long Beach University; and a two time summer resident at the Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts in Helena, MT. He has a Master’s in Fine Arts in Ceramics from the University of Washington- Seattle (2010). His artwork has been published in Designboom (Milan), Surfaces Magazine (Beijing), Artslant (New York), Beautiful Decay (Los Angeles), and Ceramics Monthly Magazine. Foran was named one of Ceramics Monthly Magazine’s 2017 Emerging Artists. He is currently Visual Arts Faculty at Lakeside School in Seattle and Creative Director of ForanSuon.

Phirak Suon, Co-Founder

Phirak Suon is a designer working in Seattle, WA. He has a background in art, architecture, and digital fabrication. His work explores the intersection between materials, digital and traditional handcraft. Suon was on the team that helped develop the Potterbot clay 3D printer and he has worked as a technician and production specialist for Emerging Objects at UC Berkeley after receiving his MA in Architecture. He has co-taught classes at Pilchuck Glass School in 2017-2019. Research residencies include time at the Tacoma Museum of Glass and Corning Museum of Glass with collaborator Brandyn Callahan.
